Post in Progress!

We’re currently editing Film Fan. With over 3 hours of donated footage - it’s quite a task! Lots of exciting stuff and quite boring bits in between. Apart from the beautiful stills we’ve released on this site, you’ll just have to wait and see!

Call out for cine film footage!

Hello folks,

We are two emerging contemporary artists and we are looking for domestic film footage (Super8/cine/8mm/16mm) for our exciting collaborative film project. If you have any in your possession gathering dust & would like to donate it in the name of modern art. We promise to be respectful of your memories & turn them into something extra special.  Our payment will be a limited edition piece of art made during the film making process and an invite to the exhibition private view in a London gallery. Any equipment will be gratefully received too.

If you can help, please contact the artists on super8filmfan@gmail.com
Best wishes & thank you,

Katie Goodwin & Alex March

Sneak preview some of footage!

Telecine Session #1

We digitised the first batch of footage in Alex’s living room with strawberries & tea to keep us going.

There was some really exciting and some really dull stuff. Birthdays, Christmas, weddings, christenings and holidays. It’s definitely a little slice of late 1960s to early 1980s British family life.

However we’re still looking for more footage so please contact us if you find any.

Thank you!
